Kazuki Tokaji Hits the Road with Enuff Z’Nuff, Prepares for Tokyo Homecoming

Kazuki Tokaji has become a mainstay of 2024 as he tours the United States with the iconic glam rock group Enuff Z’Nuff in his role as lead guitarist. Tokaji prepares for his return to Tokyo this May with both a headlining show and a guitar clinic after gaining international recognition and releasing a successful solo single.

Tokaji who lives between Tokyo and Los Angeles has received recognition for his emotionally-driven guitar style and melodic precision since his birth in Japan. Tokaji’s rise from a seven-year-old guitarist to a professional musician with one of the most influential rock bands from the ’80s has attracted attention from fans of different musical tastes.

Tokaji recalled the tour as an experience that he will never forget. Performing nightly with Enuff Z’Nuff serves as a continuous challenge to my skills as a performer. The energy is real—on stage and off.”

While the U.S. leg of the tour continues to deliver electrifying performances, Tokaji is also looking ahead to two major events in Tokyo: Tokaji will perform a solo concert at Shibuya Cyclone on May 14 and hold a guitar clinic at Musicians Institute Tokyo on April 30.

Miyazono Lucy Takuya on drums together with bassist Satoru Naka and special guest guitarist Yo Onityan will perform with a powerful live band that combines friendship and chemistry with raw talent for the Tokyo show. These musicians excel in their art and share a strong friendship bond. Tokaji declared that the night will hold special meaning.

Aspiring musicians who attend the guitar clinic and buy a concert ticket will get two complimentary packs of Ernie Ball strings through a partnership between Tokaji and sponsors ESP Guitars and Ernie Ball.

Tokaji released his new instrumental single Sanzen Sekai which is now available on all major platforms even while he maintains his tour commitments. Henry Lipatov directed the cinematic music video for this track which combines soaring melodies with technical precision and has previously worked with Linkin Park and Demi Lovato.

Tokaji maintains his dynamic pace with several upcoming collaborations and releases including a developing international project.

Creating music and building relationships remains my primary focus. The primary objective remains unchanged regardless of performing solo, teaching in clinics or playing in a full venue because the purpose always stays to make people experience emotions.

Tokaji will perform live at Shibuya Cyclone Tokyo on May 14 followed by his guitar clinic leadership at MI Tokyo on April 30.
